CAN YOU AFFORD TO LOSE $1,000 to $3,000 on a vacation?

VACATIONS COST MORE IN THE U.S. AND CANADA! Watch How You Spend Your Money - Inflation, Interest Rates, The Cost of Basic Food Items, Electricity, and Gas are All High.

There are 2 salient points which we need for you to be cognizant of:

1. It costs more to vacation within The United States, and Canada, than it costs to vacation outside of the United States, and Canada, and

2. When you vacation within the United States, and Canada, you pay more, and you get less.

How much does a hotel room cost at a decent hotel, for 1 night:

in New York City? or Niagara Falls? New York

in Washington, DC?

in Boston, Massachusetts?

in Chicago, Illinois?

in The Poconos? or Philadelphia? or Pittsburgh? Pennsylvania

in Atlanta, Georgia?

in Orlando? or Miami? or Tampa? or Daytona? or Key West? or West Palm Beach? or Clearwater Beach? or Panama City? or Marco Island? Florida

in Branson, Missouri?

in Nashville? or Gatlinburg? or Pigeon Forge? or Memphis? Tennessee

in New Orleans, Louisiana?

in Las Vegas, Nevada?

in Dallas? or Houston? or San Antonio? Texas

in Los Angeles? or San Francisco? or San Diego? California?

in Maui? or Honolulu? Hawaii

in San Juan? Rio Grande? Puerto Rico

in Charlotte Amalie, United States Virgin Islands?

in Toronto, Ontario, Canada?

in Montreal, Quebec, Canada?

in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada?

in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada?

in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada?

in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada?

in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada?

in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada?

in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada?

in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada?

$100 per night?

$200 per night?

$300 per night?

$400 per night?

$500 per night?

$600 per night?

$800 per night?

What do you get for that money?

Let us tell you exactly what it is that you get:

A room with a bed, and a bath - maybe a continental breakfast - but nothing else.

In a hotel which is not necessarily 5-star.

In a hotel which could be nowhere near to a beach.

In a place where it could be cold for nearly half of the year.

Where if you were to take water out of the fridge and drink it, you would have to pay sometimes up to $10 to $20 for that water.

Why would you pay more for that hotel than for a 5-star, beachfront resort in hot and sunny Punta Cana with:

all of your meals included - breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks

all of your drinks included - soft drinks, juices, and local alcohol

all of your non-motorized, water sports included

all of your daily activities included

all of your nightly shows, entertainment, and dancing and listening to music at a discotheque included.

To be clear:

At the hotel in the United States, and Canada, the cost of maybe breakfast, certainly lunch, dinner, snacks, drinks, discotheque, shows, daily activities, and nightly entertainment are all additional to the cost of the hotel.

Here is a comparison:

If I gave you $100:

A. would that $100 be enough to pay for 1 night, at any 5-star hotel, in any major city, in the United States, or in Canada?

Perhaps not.

B. would that $100 be enough to pay for dinner, at a restaurant, at said 5-star hotel?

How much would a decent dinner be?

Does $40 to $80 seem fair?

Does that money get you a steak or a lobster dinner?

Does that money include hors d'oeuvres? How much would the hors d'oeuvres cost? another $15 to $25 maybe?

Does it include dessert? How much would dessert cost? another $10 to $20 maybe?

How about taxes, and tips? at least maybe another $20?

Are you going to drink anything with your meal, or after your meal?

How much would 1 glass of champagne cost? maybe $15 to $25?

Or 1 glass of wine to accompany your meal? maybe also $15 to $25?

How about brandy? maybe also $15 to $25?

A shot of whisky? maybe $10?

A mixed alcoholic beverage? maybe at least $10?

Or how about a cup of steaming hot coffee? maybe at least another $5 to $10?

That dinner is not a 5-course meal:

it includes 1 meat,

possibly 1 side,

1 dessert,

1 appetizer - none of these have seconds, and

1 drink  - with no refills.

No other drinks - no drinks while you are waiting for the waiter to take your order, no drinks while you are waiting for your food to come, and not even an after dinner coffee.

And your money - your $100 - is done.

There is no after dinner entertainment:

no show ($25 to $100 for a decent show),

no dancing at a discotheque ($15 to $50 for that),

no sitting at the bar, absorbing the mood, and sipping on some beers ($5 to $10 for each beer).

Literally, you will be paying more for 1 meal - 1 dinner - at a restaurant, in a hotel, in the United States, or Canada - than you would for the same dinner, at a restaurant, in a 5-star, all-inclusive, beachfront hotel, in Punta Cana - however:

the dinner in Punta Cana:

would be all-inclusive

would be a 5-course dinner

you would not just have 1 meat - steak, but you could also have roast pork, BBQ beef ribs, braised lamb, rotisserie chicken, and fried fish - all for the same one price - and the meat would be all-you-can-eat, so you can have seconds, thirds, and even fourths - all for the same one inclusive price

you would not just have 1 side - you would have unlimited sides - all for the same one inclusive price

you would not have just 1 dessert - you could have every dessert on the menu - all for the same one inclusive price

you would not just have 1 appetizer - you could have as many appetizers as you wanted - all for the same one inclusive price

you would not just have 1 drink - but all-you-can-drink drinks, with unlimited refills, unrestricted local alcohol choices, and all of the coffee that you could drink - all for the same one inclusive price, and

you would not just have 1 meal - 1 all-you-can-eat and drink dinner, but you would also have an all-you-can-eat breakfast, an all-you-can-eat lunch, and unlimited drinks, snacks, appetizers, and desserts to go with those additional meals - all for the same one price

and

you would also have 2 days, and 1 night's accommodations at a 5-star, beachfront resort, in the adventure capital of the Caribbean - Punta Cana.

In Punta Cana, the cost of the resort includes the all-inclusive complement - everything is already included in the cost.

And the cost of the 5-star, beachfront resort in hot and sunny Punta Cana with everything included is still less than the cost of the hotel in the United States, with nothing included.

We are not saying that you should not vacation within the United States, or Canada - we believe that you should - however with interest rates, inflation, the cost of basic food items, the cost of electricity, and the cost of gas sky-rocketing, we also believe that getting the most value for your money is also a good, and timely idea.

Vacationing in Punta Cana is an excellent way of making your money stretch, and of getting the most bang, for your buck.

Why pay more for 1 night in a hotel in the United States with nothing included but the room, than for the same 1 night, and sometimes up to 2 to 6 nights at a 5-star, beachfront resort in Punta Cana with everything included?

Which do you think is a better value, and a better use of your $100?
